Parents who wish to volunteer at school or participate in field trips must complete a background check and fingerprinting process.

Volunteer Information

All “Designated Volunteers” are mandated to complete annual training required by the following RSAs: RSA 189:13(a); RSA 193:J(2); RSA 193:F(5); and RSA 189:13(a), XII.

The definition of a “Designated Volunteer” is defined in Policy GBCD and includes any volunteer who regularly visits our schools or chaperones a field trip of any kind.

Volunteers who do not fall within the definition of a designated volunteer (e.g., volunteers for an occasional classroom party) only need to complete steps one and two outlined below.

All NEW designated volunteers must complete these steps:

Step 1: Submit the Volunteer Form
Step 2: Complete Background Check / Fingerprinting (NEW VOLUNTEERS ONLY)
Step 3: Complete online training through Vector Systems. Login details will be sent automatically after submitting the volunteer form.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOUR FINGERPRINTS HAVE ALREADY CLEARED, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO REPEAT THE FINGERPRINTING PROCESS.

If you plan to attend a field trip, you must complete the steps above. Returning volunteers will receive a Vector training reminder 30 days before it is due.
